An E.D.C. or Every Day Carry can mean a few things, but most commonly refers to a bag and/or group of items you carry on your person daily.  How you carry your items is not as important as what you carry on your person daily, but I will focus on an EDC bag and it's contents.  This is different from your grab'n'go, good (Get Out Of Dodge) or bug out bag.

An E.D.C. bag and contents is as unique as the individual piecing it together.  Other than your personal items such as identification, keys and money, most common additions are flashlights, pen/pencil, waterproof notepad, small first aid, some sort of pocket knife and in places where it's legal, even a hand gun.  Most important is to tailor your EDC to your own needs and lifestyle keeping in mind it should be easy and fun to carry in all situations like: in and out of the car, on your bicycle, hiking, walking, shopping, working, etc.. you get the point.  All items should be easily accessible.... this is not your 72hrs kit or your bugout bag, so nothing large and clunky.
